I am a middle-aged semi-retired internal medicine physician born and raised in a southern red state. My interest in politics and conservatism began several years ago; I have been conservative all my life.

I am disappointed with many Republicans and the Republican Party since they have betrayed conservatives, particularly John McCain who now won’t even endorse Sarah Palin for 2012. I wish John McCain and all the so called Republican moderates would just go away and let the spirit of Reagan return.

The conservative and “PUMA” blogs have been a tremendous source of the truth over the last couple of years, as the MSM almost univerally have become Obama sycophants.

I am slowly coming to terms that the usurper Obama will be inaugurated on Jan. 20th. I recently wrote a letter to Chief Justice Roberts asking how he can maintain his oath to the Constitution, knowing Obama is not a natural born citizen, but administering the presidential oath anyway.

Eventually I will post my comments on where I feel healthcare is heading in an Obama/Daschel administration. I have not seen any healthcare economist address the issue of dwindling primary care doctors. As Massachusetts has found out, having health insurance does not mean getting timely healthcare—the wait for an appointment to see some internists in Massachusetts is one year or more. We are heading toward the time when the vast majority of primary care doctors will be foreign medical graduates, many with thickly accented English the average person has difficulty understanding.
